HabitRush is a habit tracker. This page explains what information we keep, why, and what control you have. The short version: we keep only what the app needs to work, we never sell it, and there is no AI reading your data.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored encrypted).
- What you track: habits, check-ins, tasks, goals, notes, weekly reviews and your settings such as timezone and reminder times.
- Purchase details: a record that you bought lifetime access. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
- Technical logs: basic server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept for security and to stop abuse.
How we use it
Only to run HabitRush for you: to show your dashboard, calculate your streaks and insights, send the reminders you switch on, and provide support. Insights are simple calculations on your own data inside your account.
What we never do
We don’t sell or rent your data, we don’t show ads, and we don’t use advertising trackers inside the app.
Emails
We send reminder emails only if you turn them on, plus essential account emails such as password resets and your receipt. You can switch reminders off anytime in Settings.
Your control
You can export all your data anytime from Settings as CSV or JSON. You can delete your account from Settings, which permanently removes your account and everything you tracked.
Where data is stored
Your data is stored on our hosting provider’s servers and protected with encrypted connections (HTTPS).
